How does it work?
You purchase one or more solar panels, and we manage them on your behalf. Each month you receive your share of the profit your panels generate for up to 32 years, or until you request a refund or choose to have the panels delivered to you.
What makes them a safe investment?
RA-ESG sells energy only to government utilities and major multinational companies with strong financial stability. A typical 100 MW solar farm is valued at about 150 million dollars, and we have eight projects in development. One farm of this size can produce roughly 20 million dollars in energy revenue each year.
Why do people buy solar panels?
Most people invest in solar to reduce or eliminate their electricity bills. The question then becomes one of location. If your goal is savings and strong returns, why place your panels in low sunlight regions such as the UK in December, when higher yield locations are available?
Global Irradiation Map
Our global irradiation map shows exactly where solar performs best, and the blue zones, especially dark blue, are the weakest. The UK averages only 3.7 to 4.1 hours of sunshine per day, with peak daily sunshine of about 2.5 hours, and an average solar radiation level of roughly 100 W/m² across 1350 hours of sun per year. Compare that to Cape Town or any high irradiation region, where average solar radiation reaches about 220 W/m² and sunshine exceeds 3100 hours per year, more than double the UK.
The conclusion is clear. Solar panels generate far better returns in high irradiation zones, not in the dark blue areas. Plus, it is not just the panels that sit underperforming during UK and European winters. Inverters, batteries, cabling, and racking also produce little value during low sunlight seasons. If you are investing in solar to reduce electricity costs and maximise returns, you should aim to place your panels where the yield is highest.
12% to 24% per annum Return on Investment (“ROI”)
Invest any amount you choose in solar panels, from 1 to 1,000, at £100 each. RA-ESG manages your panels by placing them in high performing locations with strong solar irradiation and favourable energy tariffs, so you do not need to buy inverters, racking, batteries, cabling, or pay installation costs. We target a return of £2.00 per month per panel, paid into your wallet on the 5th of every month, equal to a 24 percent annual return. You are contractually guaranteed a minimum energy yield of £1.00 per month per panel, equal to a guaranteed 12 percent annual return, and in the event of downtime we also guarantee £1.00 per month per panel. Monthly returns are capped at £2.00 per panel or 24 percent per year.
If you ever want your solar panels delivered to you, we can deliver them within 30 days, with shipping costs as stated in the Management Agreement. If you decide to sell your panels, our guaranteed buy back clause applies. Full definitions and terms can be found in the Management Agreement.
